WEEK 10

Its week 10. I have to admit that I'm late in updating this blog. I'm not beating about the bush, let me just proceed straight to the point.

This week assignment is about 2D Graphic Editing Software. They are:

a) Microsoft Paint / Paint Brush

b) Shapes/Smart Art Power Point

c) GIMP (OSS)

d) Online Google Draw

e) OpenOffice Draw (OSS)

MICROSOFT PAINT/PAINT BRUSH.

I used to use this software when I was a kid. I was impressed and amazed using this software during that time. It was fun though. You can find this software in every computer. It is already intially installed in the computer. Not only that, some mobile phones also have this software. Microsoft Paint is used to edit photos, banners, painting and drawings. You'll find it awesomes if you are expert using this software. Unlike me, I use this software only if I want to edit photos. But not that creative and beautiful as the expertise. I use this to fulfill my leisure time and when boredom strikes I drew something randoms on the screen using this software.

There are loads you can do in this software. For example: Paint, Brush, Spray, Insert Text, make shapes and random polygons, Draw, Cut and Paste, Make Bitmap images and so on and so forth.

P/S: Once you draw/make the shapes or lines, you cannot resize them. It will just stay and cant be changed.

SHAPES/SMART ART POWERPOINT

This types of software, we can find it at Microsoft PowerPoint.

Click which one you want to insert. (graphs,shapes,videos,images,pictures, etc...)
In this software, you can resize the shape. Whether you want to enlarge it or you want to make it small. Other than that, you also can enter text behind or inside the shapes itself. Moreover you can make it 3D if you want it to do so. You can rotate and make it bevel, glow, shadow, reflection and many more at the shape effects (Format)
 Also, you can put the text, behind the shapes/pictures or in front of it. You'll find it amazing if you explore it by heart...

GIMP
- Well this software I've to download this in order for me to use this application.
I downloaded this at http://www.gimp.org/windows/ and installed it in my computer.

What's GIMP all about?
It is also alike with Paint brush but there are some effects added to it. There are tools like, move, flip, perspective, shear and so on...Also, you can also edit pictures and photos. You can superimposed, clone, heal and add any other effects to your photos. Easy said it makes your life easier and makes your pictures look good.

Assignment 6a

We're making a brochure using microsoft publisher on Original And  Licensed Software. We made the brochure as simple as possible and I really enjoyed using microsoft publisher because it is easy to use..
